The World Food Programme (WFP) is extremely concerned about the state of food security in Lebanon after the country — already in the throes of its worst-ever economic crisis — was rocked by the recent explosion in Beirut.
While assessing food security needs, WFP is seeking to facilitate logistical support where possible; WFP stands ready to offer supply chain management and logistical support and expertise to Lebanon.

أطلق برنامج الأغذية العالمي، اليوم الأحد، عملية طارئة لتوفير مساعدات غذائية لمليون لبناني.
وفي وقت سابق من اليوم، أعلن وزير البيئة رئيس خلية الأزمة في حكومة تصريف الأعمال اللبنانية ناصر ياسين نزوح نحو مليون مواطن عن مناطق الجنوب جراء الضربات الصهيونية المستمرة.
